Of Memory Painted
there are those moments
on the vast canvas
of life's memory
that do not fade
that do not blur
or change
with passing time
painted so clearly
so indelibly
into that great fabric
that time does not dull
the vivid colours
of experience
and each moment
can be recalled
perfectly
time and time again
perhaps
we have made
just such memories
each moment we shared
now painted with

or fail

of flawless recollection
