The Domino Effect
It's emotional momentum -
one simple disaster
starting a chain of events
pieces of my broken heart
collide and fall
one after another
a domino effect
of heartbreak
where gravity and force
action and reaction
follow natural laws
and I am still reeling
with every falling piece
wondering if they will
ever stop their relentless cascade
my heart
was not built for this
